Highlights of our 2 month trip were dancing in Buenes Aires, the gigantic Igassu Falls, swimming in a salt lake in the driest dessert of the world (Atacama desert), hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, Paragliding in Iquique and living and hunting with indigenous people in the peruvian jungle.
China, 2006
After studing for 5 month at the BFSU in Beijing I travelled together with my Chinese friends Wileen and Yuki in China. First we flew to Lhasa, Tibet and from there to Sichuan, Yunnan and Guangxi.
New Zealand, 2004-2005
Together with two friends I traveled through New Zealand in December 2004 and January 2005. Our journey started in Auckland and the following weeks we were astonished by New Zealand’s incredible landscape. We experienced lonely beaches, rugged volcano areas, spectacular waterfalls, amazing glaciers and of course thousands of cows and sheep on wonderful green lawns.
Study in Sydney, 2004
As a study abroad student I spent five month in Sydney at Macquarie University doing some Business and Physics courses. It was a great time. The “easy going” culture of the Australians is one of the most pleasant cultures I know so far. Furthermore nature in Australia is amazing with their kangaroos, wombats and so much more unique wildlife. Last but not least it is an excellent place for having some excellent parties! :-)
Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, 2005
Thailand – it is obviously a good place for holidays but for working as well. With a friend I stayed seven weeks in Thailand and in these seven weeks we completely finished an extensive software project. Of course there was enough time to relax on white beaches, swim and dive in crystal clear water, and to get impressed by Thailand’s beautiful nature.
